Items Accepted: Bagged Garbage – Fees range from $1 to $8 ($1 = small “Wal-mart” type bag; $3 = standard size garbage bag; $5 – $8 = oversize bags; (Site attendant determines)).

• Concrete, Rocks, Brush

Items not accepted at the site are your responsibility to dispose of properly.  Please contact a local independent recycling or waste hauling company.

The Montello Recycling Center is located on Fern Ave. north of the Montello city limits. Take Hwy. 22 approximately 3/10ths of a mile north, turn left on Fern Ave., travel west approximately 3/10ths of a mile – the site is on the right. Cards are being issued one per property owner/household based on the real estate tax roll. If you own rental property in the Town in addition to your own property, please contact your Town Clerk to obtain a card for your renter(s).
